I am an Electronic Engineer, and I work in the building and environment sector as a design consultant and in works management, on architectural and environmental acoustics and audio, video and multimedia systems. For me, theatre and cinema represent a perfect blend of engineering disciplines and artistic expression. First as a musician and then as an engineer, I’ve learned to get to know both the emotional and physical aspects of sound, studying the interaction between confined spaces and our brain.
I began my professional career installing sound systems sonorizzando in places of worship, including a number of cathedrals in central Italy, before creating architectural acoustics projects for several theatres throughout the country, most notably the famous Brancaccio Theatre in Rome and the Niccolò Piccinni Opera House in Bari. I work as a project and works manager, dealing with the whole project design process regarding all the technical aspects of entertainment venues.
In 2015 I was appointed as an expert in acoustics and regular member of the Provincial Technical Commission for the Supervision of Public Entertainment Venues for the Prefecture of Rome.
Another passion of mine is teaching, in the sense of sharing experiences: I taught Electronics and Physics at the Fermi Technical High School in Rome, and took part as an expert teacher in the course “Digital Technologies applied to Music”, financed with EU structural funding for the National Operational Programme.
I teach on the Course for Acoustics Technicians at the Order of Engineers in Rome, where I conduct seminars on the subject and deliver professional further training courses for Acoustics Technicians.
I am a qualified Environmental Acoustics Technician, and enrolled under no. 7612 on the ENTECA national register.
I am a Fire Prevention Professional listed on the registers of the Ministry of the Interior.
